Little wine

What a great weekend, little mermaid marathon with baby G -sorry, big girl G, as she refuses to be called my baby... since when did 2 years old become big girl numbers?!! Apparently she is not too big for her crib (according to her), and must get a big girl bed soon... This is all happening too fast for my taste! She is going to be a crab in her Jazz Company production of the Little Mermaid, but was not to thrilled as the costume is red, not "pink and purple like the princesses". Thanks to Sebastian and his "under the sea" hit song, little G is warming up the the crab getup, lets hope it lasts.

After an uneventful bedtime story (seriously sometimes these kiddy books are just so blah), and a big goodnight kiss it was adult time. A fireside movie with B., little wine, and best of all NO MORE political campaign commercials, priceless!!!!  If I saw another negative commercial about how the country is going to sh** if X or Y wins I was seriously going to throw something at my TV.

We had a bottle of rosé for a change, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not usually a big fan, and prefer either red or white, but this wine is worth a taste: Raventós i Blanc La Rosa 2011.

  2. What a cutie! I'm really enjoying how much more personality my daughter shows the older she gets (she's 2 now), and looking forward to seeing who my little boy is. Visiting from ICLW.

  3. Hi from ICLW. I work with children about the same age as your daughter and found this book called "Hug Time" that will honestly melt your heart. Short and simple but a really great little book.
